The TYO is very excited about the 6th Annual Symphony/Chamber Retreat! During the weekend, Symphony and Chamber Orchestra Members will participate in intensive rehearsals and musical exercises and enjoy several fun activities! This retreat counts as the first rehearsal of the season for those participating.
This year our closing concert for our retreat will be held at
North Florida Community College's Van H. Priest Auditorium!
For Symphony Orchestra students attendance is mandatory and the retreat has already been included in the tuition for the 2019-2020 year. Symphony members with high school marching band commitments for Friday night should make plan to arrive early Saturday morning- to make these arrangements please email us: email@example.com
The retreat is optional for Chamber Orchestra students, but they are highly encouraged to attend. There is an additional $100.00 fee for Chamber students. Simply add the Chamber Retreat to your cart during registration.
If you are a Chamber Orchestra student and would like to attend the retreat, please fill out the Chamber Retreat Registration Form and complete payment by August 4th.

Directions: Cherry Lake 4-H Center is located 14 miles north of Madison, Florida. From I-10, exit at Highway 53 and head north into Madison. Turn left on Hwy. 90 and head west to Hwy. 53. Turn right on Highway 53. Cherry Lake is approximately 11 miles north. Look for Hwy. 253, turn right and look for Camp Cherry Lake signs.

Musicians are expected to respect the Chaperones, the Camp Cherry Lake facilities, the Camp Staff, and the TYO Staff, and follow directions.
Musicians should respect the property of others and demonstrate courtesy toward each other at all times.
Musicians are expected to participate in ALL activities.
Every musician is expected to participate in cleaning up after meals, helping to set up for activities, and cleaning the cabins before departure.
No Musician or Chaperone may leave the camp property without permission from Mr. Miller or Jeanette Edwards
Musicians are only allowed in their assigned cabin.
Musicians are expected to remain in groups and to always check in and out with their chaperone following all assigned activities. No musician should leave his or her group without a chaperone’s permission.
Cell phones must be left in the musician’s cabin for the duration of the retreat.
Any student driving himself/herself to the retreat must surrender his/her car keys to the designated TYO representative upon arriving at Camp Cherry Lake.
Upon registration for the year (Symphony Students) or the Retreat (Chamber Students), students were asked of dietary restrictions. If this question was not answered properly, please alert us if students require vegetarian or gluten free meals by August 5th (firstname.lastname@example.org).
