Megan Morris is a violinist and strings teacher from Charlotte, North Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Masters in Music Education from Florida State University. After receiving her bachelor's degree, Ms. Morris taught middle and high school orchestra in Charlotte, NC from 2010-2015. There, she performed with the Union Symphony Orchestra and the Bella Musica String Trio. Ms. Morris performed with the University Symphony Orchestra at FSU and was a guest conductor for the Campus Orchestra. In the summer, she was a violin teacher and coach for the UNCG Summer Music Camps from 2007-2019, and returned to conduct the Bach Junior Orchestra in the summer of 2018. She also served as a violin coach, private lesson instructor, chamber music coach, and conductor for the FSU String Orchestra Camp from 2016-2019. Ms. Morris was invited to conduct the Middle School All County Orchestra in Wilmington, North Carolina in October 2018. Ms. Morris currently serves as the conductor of the Chamber Orchestra for the Tallahassee Youth Orchestras. She is in her third year at Montford Middle School and fifth year living in Tallahassee.
