Connor Willits is a senior at Florida State University, and is pursuing a degree in Percussion Performance. He has performed as a member of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and Tallahassee Community Chorus. Connor has also served as a percussion fellow at the Texas Music Festival, and has participated in both the Eastern Music Festival and FMEA Intercollegiate Band. In addition, he has also performed in a variety of groups while attending FSU, including the University Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and “Mas ‘n Steel” Steel Pan Ensemble. Connor is the Percussion Coordinator of the Tallahassee Youth Orchestra, where he is able to continue his passion for teaching with students throughout Leon County. His teachers include Dr. John W. Parks IV and John Evans.
