
TYO is thrilled to announce the 11th Annual Symphony Retreat! Join us for a weekend of team-building, music-making, and fun-filled activities at Realife Blues Springs, from Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17. The retreat will culminate with a free concert at the Chipola Center for the Arts, and we warmly invite parents, family, and friends to join us for this special performance!
Attendance at the retreat is mandatory for TYO Symphony students.
Please note that the TYO Symphony Retreat is for Symphony students only.

If you have a game on August 15, please notify Ms. Meg at tyodirector@gmail.com and plan to arrive Saturday morning. We don't want you driving late at night!
Realife will provide meals for the whole retreat and do not make exceptions for any type of food restrictions. If you have any dietary concerns, please bring additional food items that meet your needs for the weekend. A full menu for your planning will be provided a week before the retreat. We have access to the refrigerator and microwaves during our stay.

Musicians are expected to respect the Chaperones, the Blue Springs facilities, the Camp Staff, and the TYO Staff. Musicians should respect the property of others and demonstrate courtesy toward each other at all times.

Musicians are expected to participate in all activities.

Every musician is expected to participate in cleaning up after meals, helping to set up for activities, and cleaning the cabins before departure.

No Musician may leave the camp property without permission.

Musicians are only allowed in their assigned cabin.

Musicians are expected to remain in groups and to always check in and out with their chaperones following all assigned activities. No musician should leave his or her group without a chaperone’s permission.

Any student driving himself/herself to the retreat must make plans to stay once arriving at Blue Springs. Student drivers may not leave the camp for the duration of TYO's stay at the Blue Springs facilities.
